By spending a good 15 minutes in the sun each and everyday without sunscreen or sun protection, you should be able to absorb a sufficient amount of vitamin D. However, a majority of people do not get this amount of direct sunlight without sunscreen so it is almost a certainty that you are going to want to supplement with extra vitamin D3.
